Apple App Launched

We are underway (on Apple at least) Google (Android) to follow soon .

Our first competition (Halloween) has reached the semi final stage with Monster Mash by Bobby Pickett up against Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr. In the other half of the draw, Ghosts by The Jam is up against The Witch Queen of New Orleans by Redbone. Neither Thriller by Michael Jackson nor The Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult (my picks) made it past the Round of 16. Clearly the Witch Queen has put a spell on you!

Law and Police is now at the Quarter Final Stage and Songs with a Colour in the title is at the Round of 16. The Round of 32 in that competition had some interesting matches Van Morrison with Brown Eyed Girl met Prince with Purple Rain and The Hollies Long Cool (Woman in a Black Dress) met Back to Black by Amy Whitehouse. You’ll have to download the app to see who won.

Open for voting today is songs by ‘and’ Bands, there are some obvious contenders Jamming by Bob Marley and the Wailers, and Echo Beach by Martha and the Muffins however kudos goes to whoever nominated Hot Rod Lincoln by Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen - a new one on me!

Currently in the nomination phase are Songs about Castles and Bonfire Night Songs so get your thinking hats on.
